Bits can be copied for free. The very nature of bits is to be copied and copied. As we browse the web the protocols we use necessitate many copies of bits to be made on their way to your screen. Anything that can be stored in a digital format will be, and becomes subject to infinite availability. This is the nature of digital things. Fighting against their nature is a losing battle. The music industry fought against it for years, until the streaming revolution began and the fluid copies became features, not bugs, of the medium.
